The patent pending BikerCom motorcycle communications system includes a Helmet Headset for the Rider, a Helmet Headset for the Passenger and a Control Box for the motorcycle.
The system combines the freedom of Bluetooth® wireless technology with trusted Two Way Radio service enabling wireless motorcycle intercom communications between Rider, Passenger, and Bike to Bike.
The Helmet Headsets wirelessly connect to the Control Box to receive audio signals; there are no troublesome wires between the Rider, Passenger and Control Box. Your Two Way Radio and included Push To Talk button connect to the Control Box using a wired connection.
The Rider's Mobile Phone connects to the Control Box using a Bluetooth wireless connection; your Navigation Device, Radar Detector and Audio Player connect using either a Bluetooth wireless connection or a wired connection.
Two Way Radio Connection
Your two way radio and the included Push To Talk button connect to the Control Box using a wired connection enabling two way radio communication.
Mobile Phone Connection
Your mobile phone connects to the Control Box using a wireless Bluetooth connection enabling the Rider to make and receive mobile phone calls. For safety and convenience incoming calls are automatically answered, for privacy the Passenger cannot hear the Rider’s mobile phone connection.
Your navigation device connects to the Control Box using either a wired connection or wireless Bluetooth connection, enabling the Rider and Passenger to receive navigation instructions. For example, if your navigation device is Bluetooth equipped such as the Garmin zūmo® 550, you can connect it to the Control Box wirelessly using Bluetooth, if your device is not Bluetooth equipped you can connect it to the Control Box using a wired connection.
Radar Detector Connection
Your radar detector connects to the Control Box using a wired connection enabling the Rider and Passenger to receive radar detector alerts.
Audio Player Connection
Your audio player connects to the Control Box using a wired connection enabling the Rider and Passenger to listen to music in stereo.
